Giovanni Photography specializes in architectural photography and has been published in national, state, and local publications. We are the primary contributor of residential architectural photography for Naples-based Home & Design Magazine and have been producing photography for this publication since 2002. In fact, virtually all of its covers display Giovanni’s work, in addition to the hundreds of 10-12 page ‘home tour’ editorial layouts.

Giovanni Photography uses the best cameras and lenses to capture the interiors and exteriors of luxury homes, and through its years of experience, realistically portrays these projects utilizing the finest post-production techniques in the industry. Our photography actually makes you want to “be there,” and that magic happens during the shoot and after the image is taken.

It is our philosophy that to properly create artistic residential photography, it must be a true collaboration with the client. We use high definition monitors during the photography shoot that display the images as they are being composed, styled, and lit. This system enables the photographer and the client to see a very close approximation of what the final image will look like and is an essential tool in creating the most dynamic architectural photography.

Taking the photographs with the right skill and proper equipment is just the first stage in creating superior architectural photography. Giovanni Photography offers the client the opportunity to come to the studio where they can review the final photographs on a 4K monitor during which changes or adjustments can be enacted while the client looks on. We have found this is a powerful way to ensure designers, Realtors, architects, and builders that paint colors, fabrics, architectural details, and the overall look is exactly the way the client wants to portray them.

Processing in Adobe Photoshop is a step that many other photographers often approach minimally.  But Giovanni’s expertise in post-production is unparalleled. The processing stage can and can/should take about twice the time as the actual shooting of the image itself.  Color correction, distortion control, unwanted views, the removal of distracting items such as AC grills, light switches, cords, and electrical outlets, and many other exposure layering techniques are employed to ensure the clients’ work is displayed in its best possible representation.
